Privacy Choices

This page is the practical version of our privacy policy: what you can do about your data, and how to do each thing. These rights come from India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, and they are free to exercise.

Change your cookie choice

You chose Accept or Reject when you first visited. To change it, reopen the cookie banner and pick again. Rejecting blocks analytics and marketing tracking, including the Meta Pixel; the store works fully either way.

Stop marketing emails

Every marketing email we send has an unsubscribe link in the footer, and it works immediately. You can also write to us at the address below and we will unsubscribe you.

See the data we hold about you

If you have an account, log in to see your orders, addresses and details. For a full summary of everything we hold, email us and we will send it to you.

Correct your data

Account holders can edit their own details and addresses from the account page. For anything you cannot edit yourself, email us with the correction.

Delete your data

Email us and we will erase your personal data, except records Indian tax and accounting law requires us to keep (order and invoice records), which we will delete once the retention period ends.

Nominate someone

You can nominate a person to exercise these rights on your behalf if you are unable to. Email us their name and contact, and we will note it against your record.

How to reach us, and what happens next

For any of the above, write to hello@modusandmood.com with the subject "Privacy". We aim to acknowledge within 72 hours and resolve within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may escalate to the Data Protection Board of India.
