Warm yellow Leher stripes on cream, hand-painted with a soft, slightly wavering edge. The sunniest plate in the set.
Warm yellow stripes on cream, hand-painted with a soft, slightly wavering edge. It is the sunniest plate in the Leher set and the one that lifts a grey day at breakfast, which is when it earns its place. Painted freehand in small batches, so the stripes wander. It goes with the marigold pattern plate for a yellow table, and with the sky blue for a summer one.
Hand-thrown and hand-finished in small batches, so shape, glaze pooling and pattern vary a little piece to piece. That variation is the point, not a flaw.

FAQs
Is it dishwasher or microwave safe?
Our ceramics are microwave safe unless they have metal components attached to them. They are not dishwasher safe, so hand wash them with a soft sponge and mild soap.
Why does my piece look different from the photo?
Each piece is made and finished by hand, so glaze, pattern and shape vary a little from one piece to the next. That variation is part of the handmade process, not a flaw.
How do I stop it cracking?
Avoid sudden changes in temperature and handle it gently. Our journal guide to caring for handmade ceramics covers washing, stains and storage in more detail.
Can I use it for food and drink?
Yes. Our mugs, cups, plates, bowls and serving pieces are made for everyday food and drink. Planters, vases, figurines and hanging pieces are decorative and not meant for food.
