A faceted, ribbed base that catches the light, and a broad amber band poured around the rim while the glass was hot, so its depth varies from tumbler to tumbler. It is comfortable in the hand and considerably more expensive-looking than it is. The amber is the warmest of the three rim colours and the one that flatters whisky. For water, whisky, or a long evening on the balcony.
Hand-blown one piece at a time, so small bubbles, slight differences in wall thickness and variation in colour depth are part of the process rather than faults.
