It is the gentlest of the three Second Cups and, in every kitchen we have seen it in, the one that gets claimed first. Plain, well proportioned, holds a proper amount, and surprisingly hard to put down. Thrown and glazed in small batches.
Hand-thrown and hand-finished in small batches, so shape, glaze pooling and pattern vary a little piece to piece. That variation is the point, not a flaw.
