It is lighter and higher in tone than the shell chimes, and quieter in a draught, which makes it the chime for a bedroom window rather than a balcony. Each bird is cut from laminated coloured clay. Sixty centimetres from the 27.5 cm stick to the base.
Nerikomi: the pattern is built through the clay before the piece is formed, and every piece is cut by hand, so no two are identical.
