The set is made for unhurried mornings: tea in the cup, a biscuit or a slice of something on the plate. The fine dark brown rim is applied by hand and sits slightly differently on each piece, which is how you know it was not printed.
Hand-thrown and hand-finished in small batches, so shape, glaze pooling and pattern vary a little piece to piece. That variation is the point, not a flaw.
