The bow is modelled by hand rather than pressed from a mould, so it sits at its own angle on each bowl and reads as a piece of clay ribbon rather than a stamp. Small enough for a side serving of dessert or nuts, and pretty enough to leave out on a shelf between meals.
Hand-thrown and hand-finished in small batches, so shape, glaze pooling and pattern vary a little piece to piece. That variation is the point, not a flaw.
