A softly irregular nerikomi bowl, fine speckling through the clay with an indigo glaze washing over the rim.
Dune is a set of three small bowls whose speckling is worked through the clay itself, and this is the cream and indigo one: pale body, an indigo wash breaking over the rim, and a lip that is deliberately uneven because it was shaped by hand rather than pressed in a mould. It is right for a single serving of anything, and better still as the bowl by the door that ends up collecting keys, coins and the odd earring. Food-safe.
Nerikomi: the pattern is built through the clay before the piece is formed, and every piece is cut by hand, so no two are identical.
