Hathi Elephant Nerikomi Ceramic Planter - Coral Zigzag

Mon-Fri: 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM (IST)
A small standing elephant planter with a blanket of coral zigzags worked through the clay body itself.
Nerikomi is slow, exacting work: the pattern is built inside the clay before the piece exists. For this Hathi planter that means the coral zigzags were stacked and sliced as a block, then pressed into the elephant's form, so the chevrons run through the wall and show inside the pot too. It is sized for a small succulent or a fistful of desk clutter, and it sits on four stub feet with its trunk curled in.
Nerikomi: the pattern is built through the clay before the piece is formed, and every piece is cut by hand, so no two are identical.
