The quiet one in the herd: a cow planter in smoky charcoal chevrons over pale clay, with a dark glazed well.

Every herd needs a quiet one, and in Moo Mood it is the charcoal zigzag cow. Smoky chevrons over pale clay, a dark glazed well inside, and considerably easier to place in a room that already has a lot going on than its brighter siblings. The pattern is nerikomi through the wall, not painted on, so it stays put for the life of the piece. Horns, ears and feet modelled by hand and joined.

Nerikomi: the pattern is built through the clay before the piece is formed, and every piece is cut by hand, so no two are identical.
