Mon-Fri: 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM (IST)
A cow planter with rings of red and teal marching across its flanks, a dark glazed interior and a face that looks faintly surprised.
Moo Mood is a herd of cow planters, and this is the one in rust and teal rings. Horns, ears and four small feet were modelled separately and joined by hand, and the face was pressed and pinched rather than moulded, which is exactly why it looks faintly surprised to find itself full of succulents. The rings are nerikomi, laid into the clay before the cow was built. Twenty centimetres long, with a dark glazed well inside.
Nerikomi: the pattern is built through the clay before the piece is formed, and every piece is cut by hand, so no two are identical.
